Not too impressed today and the last few times I’ve been here. I guess it’s time to move on and find a new place. Ive been a loyal customer for many years, but the last couple of months I’ve noticed a change in the quality of the food; customer service of the waitstaff; and overall expectation. Good luck!
I love everything about this place. It's a pretty nondescript, older-looking joint, but there's a reason it's loved by the locals. The food is excellent, the pie is out of this world and I've always gotten great service. There's a bar in the back, but you don't see it from the dining area. I ate here a good six times before I noticed it. They run off the menu specials, as well as a soup of the day. The pie selections also vary by day. All of it is great. We eat here all the time and it never gets old.

Never been let down here! Amazing food! I go for the shrimp n grits and spinach dip. The owner tends to make rounds and greet guests. Even after Hurricane Harvey, they let their doors open to the public while the floors were being cleaned up! Life saver after eating hotel food for days!!
Locally owned. They have the most amazing homemade pies. Comfort food at its finest. They also have a full service bar and a good looking wait staff. My favorite is a simple grilled cheese sandwich.
